Egypt: 300,000 Feddans Available for Agricultural Investments

The Public Authority for Reconstruction Project and Agricultural Development under Agriculture & Land Reclamation Minister Salah Abdul-Mo'men agreed on Monday 25/2/2013 to offer 300,000 feddans within months for agriculture investments in coordination with the armed forces.

The Minister noted that 60,000 feddans will be floated in a public auction in al-farafra, 500 will be allocated in Qena and 184 to the New valley Governorate youths.

He pointed out the authority agreed to allocate 3500 feddans on usufruct system, adding LE 9.1 million allocated to the sewage project in Wadi al-Saayda on 15000 feddans.
