Egypt: Sisi - Armed Forces to Continue Protecting Nation

The Armed Forces will continue undertaking the sacred responsibility of preserving and protecting the nation, said Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Defense Minister General Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi.

During a meeting with Air Force officers on Monday 25/2/2013, Sisi commended the heroic role of the Second and Third Field Armies in securing the Canal cities of Ismailia, Port Said and Suez, and the Suez Canal.

He also praised their efforts in protecting the country's borders and bringing security to Sinai.

The chief commander hailed the distinguished performance of Air Force members and the force's combat capabilities.
