Kenya: Two Killed in Forest Crash

Two people died yesterday after an aircraft they were flying in crashed in Mt Kenya forest. Yellow club East Africa chairman Rob Linck said the aircraft, A22 Foxbat, that belongs to Laikipia Wildlife Forum crashed in bad weather.

"There were strong winds and the aircraft was small and could not maneouvre its way through the turbulent condition," said Linck.

Those who died were the pilot, who is was also the director of Laikipia Wildlife Forum Trust Fund, Antony King, and an unidentified Canadian based reporter. The two were surveying Laikipia ecosystem and the forest wildlife habitat during the 9:30 am incident.
