Kenya: Nairobi Marketers Mix Business With Pleasure

Professionals from top companies in Nairobi gathered at the Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi on Friday for a night of fun and networking. Organised by Marketing Africa, the event brought together top executives and players in business from different companies.

The chief guest, Uganda's Vision Group CEO Robert Kabushenga, compared and contrasted the Kenyan and Ugandan markets, urging marketers to take note of their complementarities.

Marketing Africa also launched a book, A Profile of Kenyan Entrepreneurs, which features the country's top business people including industrialist Manu Chandaria, Homeboyz Radio's Myke Rabar and Royal Media Services owner SK Macharia. The book is published by East African Educational Publishers and written by Wanjiru Waithaka and Evans Majeni.

Among those in attendance were Safari Park food and beverage manager Leonard Ngugi and EABL executive Stephen Wachira.
