Eritrean Community Members in Washington DC Express Staunch Resistance Against External Conspiracies

Asmara — The Eritrean community members residing in the Washington DC Metropolitan Area, US, have voiced staunch resistance against external conspiracies and expressed readiness to back up the national development drive.

The Eritrean community members expressed resolve at a seminar during which they strongly denounced the psychological warfare devised by hostile quarters targeting Eritrea. They also lauded the development accomplishments being registered in the Homeland pursuing the national policy of self-reliance, and said that the hostile intention to sap such development drive is but a futile attempt.

Mr. Berhane Gebrehiwet, from the Eritrean Embassy in the country, gave briefings regarding the objective situation and developments in the Homeland vis-à-vis the expected role of nationals at present.

Furthermore, the nationals lauded the Eritrean government's efforts towards promoting regional peace and collaboration, and called for the implementation of the EEBC ruling. They also called on the UN Security Council to lift the unjust sanctions imposed on Eritrea on the basis of unsubstantiated and fabricated allegations without any further delay.
