Tanzania to Host 'Swahili' Tourism Fair

TANZANIA will host an international tourism exhibition known as 'Swahili Tourism Fair' in October, this year. The exhibitions would be jointly organised by the Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB) and South Africa's Witch & Wizard Company, it was announced in Dar es Salaam.

South Africa's High Commissioner to Tanzania, Ambassador Thanduyise Chiliza, said the exhibitions would enhance the existing bilateral ties between the two countries, especially in the tourism sector. He said the sector was of crucial importance to economies of South Africa and Tanzania.

"There are many areas in the sector where the two countries can work together for mutual benefit," the diplomat said. The High Commissioner made the remarks at the signing ceremony between TTB and Witch & Wizard in Dar es Salaam. TTB was represented by the Board Chairman, Ambassador Charles Sanga, while Witch & Wizard by its CEO, Ms Zaida Enver at the signing.
