Angola: Commander General Unveils New Police Stations in Luanda

Luanda — Four new police stations were inaugurated Tuesday in Luanda by Commander general of National Police, commissioner general Ambrósio de Lemos, as part of celebration of 37 years of corporation on 28 February.

The infrastructures are located in Mundial and Chimbicato neighbourhoods in Belas district, KM 14 (Viana) and Congeral ward (Cazenga).

Speaking at inaugural ceremony, the Commander-General said that the construction of the police stations is part of corporation's policy to expand the structures to the various neighbourhoods of the capital and serve the population.

The police commander general, who also delivered vehicles, was accompanied by provincial commander of Luanda, Elisabeth Rank Frank, high ranking officers and officials of district administrations.
