Assab — The NUEYS branch in the Southern Red Sea region has called for enhancement of joint endeavors as regards popularization of cultural values.

It made the call at a meeting conducted with the inhabitants of Shekaito Administrative area during which a detailed briefing was given pertaining to the role of youths in the national development drive.

Mr. Azazi Bereket'ab, head of the branch office, pointed out that the role of the youth is a crucial prerequisite in the nation-building process, and thus entailing the need to upgrading their production capacity. He further called on parents to play due role in nurturing such values to the young generation, and the inhabitants to back up implementation of the Union's programs to this end.

The participants of the meeting said that they would extend a helping hand towards promoting societal values.
