Angola: Police Science Institute Inaugurations Marks Corporation Anniversary

Benguela — The inaugural of a high police science institute constructed in Baia Farta Municipality, Benguela province, will mark the 37th anniversary of the corporation, on February 28, Angop has learnt.

The institute provides the cadres with technical and scientific skills capable of enabling them a better police activity adjusted to the main principles of the law-abiding State.

The officers will be trained in criminal investigation, inspection and investigation of economic activities, public and road security, customs taxation, logistics and transports, as well as border guard techniques.

It has 22 classrooms, with laboratories of chemistry, physics and criminal laboratory, as well as refectories, and bed rooms for 250 students.
