Namibe — The governor of southern Namibe province, Isaac dos Anjos, on Tuesday said that the local staff has recovered 300 hectares of land at Nação ward, for the construction of social infrastructures after the floods in 2001, Angop has learnt.
The official said so after the three-day visit to Namibe city, adding that the recovery of these hectares starts with the Campismo park and goes to Bero river mouth.
The project is being urbanized for the enlargement of the marginal avenue until the mouth of Bero river.
Isaac dos Anjos also said that the two power stations of Xitoto will be transferred to a new central in the surroundings of the airport to attend the new urbanizations of this area and Amélia beach.
