Zimbabwe: 4 More Killed in Another Road Accident

Police have released the names of people who died in the accident involving four vehicles at the intersection of Airport and Dieppe Roads on Monday afternoon. The haulage truck heading towards the east hit a land cruiser, a commuter omnibus before landing on top of another commuter omnibus.

Seven people died on the spot while 23 were injured.

The deceased have been identified as Theresa Guvheya (22) from Hopley Farm, Sharon Mutape (18 months) also from Hopley farm, Blessing Mucheyi (33) and Nyarai Saupa (27) from Epworth.

Also among the deceased was police Constable Kapuma Dzawaridza.

Police spokesperson Superintendent Andrew Phiri said the other two bodies were yet to be identified.

Meanwhile, another haulage truck overturned along the Harare-Masvingo Road killing four people on the spot.
