Angola: Muzongue Show Pays Homage to Angolan Women

Luanda — The Muzongue da Tradição live entertainment show, to happen on Sunday (March 03), in Luanda's Kilamba Cultural Centre, will be dedicated to Angolan women, in the ambit of the programme dubbed "March Women), celebrating the female dates of this this month.

The information was given Tuesday to ANGOP by the manager of the Kilamba Cultural Centre, Estêvão Costa.

According to the official, who spoke to ANGOP, the organisers have prepared a top line-up of artists to enliven the programme, which will pay homage to women for their contribution to the country's development and affirmation.

The organizers will also raffle off a car in a competition exclusively for women.

The line-up of artists will include the Movimento band, the musicians Samanguana, Dina Santos, Pedrito, Margareth do Rosário and Esmeralda.

The programme includes the performance of the comedians Maestro e Helena Dias.

Besides the International Women's Day (March 08), the country also celebrates the national women's day on March 02.
