Caála — At least 1.5 billion Kwanzas were made available by the African Development Bank (AfDB) for an agricultural project in Calenga commune, Caála municipality, in Huambo province, says the local administrator, Samuel Ntima.
The money will serve for the construction of a store house, irrigation systems, rehabilitation of tertiary roads and bridges, acquisition of agricultural tools and construction of a school to support peasants families in the region.
The initiative aims at supporting 10,000 peasant families at Calenda Commune.
