Lagos — The Nigerian Association of Liquefied Petroleum Gas says it would inject one million gas cylinders into the market before the end of first quarter.
President of the Association, Alhaji Auwalu Ilu, said in Lagos that the development was aimed at popularizing the use of cooking gas in the country.
"This measure is to boost awareness of the use of gas among Nigerians. It will also help address our gas flaring challenges," he said.
Ilu implored the Federal Government to fashion out policies aimed at encouraging more Nigerians to switch from firewood and kerosene to cooking gas.
