Liberia: Remedy Celebrates Second Anniversary - Dedicates Temple

The Remedy Chapel (Movement) International, a new Move located in the Airfield Community in Sinkor, Sunday climaxed its weeklong second anniversary celebration with a thanksgiving service, a day after the church dedicated its supper worship structure. The construction of the Temple started in five months of the Move existence, and was completed in exactly one year period debt free.

The founder and Pioneer of the Move, Pastor Philemon Tarpeh Sunday told members of his congregation to reference the Almighty God as doer and the provider of the resources that were used to construct the building.

He said the completion of the building in such a short time of the Move is a manifestation of God's presence with the Remedy family. The cost of the building is estimated at hundreds of thousands of United States Dollars.

He expressed his gratitude first to God and to members of the congregation saying, what could have taken others 20-years to accomplish God had empowered the Move to do in just one year with members contribution-a clear distinction between a Move and a Church.

The dedication ceremony was performed on Saturday by Bishop Isaac S. Winker, Sr. of the Dominion Christian Fellowship Center who also served as the guest preacher and he officiated the ordination of several church workers. Those ordained were 6 pastoral assistants, 3 elders and over a dozen new deacons.

The weeklong thanksgiving celebration which started on Wednesday February 20, 2013, saw Bishop Dr. George Harris of the Philadelphia Church as guest preacher. The second day February 21, saw The Pioneer Pst. Tarpeh officiating, while on Friday February 22 and Saturday February 23 which was the day of dedication saw Bishop Winker officiating as both Guest Preacher, dedicating and ordination officer.
