Nigeria: Suspected Robbers Steal Mwun Boss' Car

A two man armed robbery gang Tuesday, stormed the Abuja liaison Secretary of the Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria, MWUN, located at Cameroun Road, Wuse, and made away with the President-General of the union, Comrade Nted Anthony's car.

The car, a black new Hyundai Accent at the time of theft was with number plate EKY 75 AV.

Vanguard gathered that the driver of the car was washing it in the morning when robbers came and forcefully took away the car.

According to information, at the time of the robbery, all the original documents of the car were inside it.

Confirming the robbery, Nted said he just asked the driver to take the car to Abuja for his use any time he came to Abuja.

According to him, "the robbers took away the car, the original documents among other things including the driver's mobile phone. We have already alerted the Police about the robbery and we hope they will be able to find it".
