Gambia: Deadly Accident in Sotokoi Kills Two

The people of Sotokoi village in the West Coast Region were on Sunday left dumbfounded after a Pick-up vehicle with registration number BJL 2834H ran into a parked truck with registration number BJL 1904F, killing two people on the spot.

Omar Bojang, a police officer and Sanna Bojang, all from the same family, died on the spot when their vehicle coming from the Fonis hit the truck parked along the road, Cadet ASP David Kujabi, Public Relations Officer of the Gambia Police Force confirmed to The Point.

Three survivors, Yusupha Bojang, the driver of the vehicle, Yusupha Saidy and Ebou Jarju all sustained injuries.
