Egypt Participates in Geneva Conference to Discus Water, Environment Issues

Minister of State for Environmental Affairs Khaled Fahmy left Cairo Tuesday 27/2/2013 for Geneva to attend a two-day conference on the 2015 development agenda in the light of water resources and environment issues.

Representatives from various governments, international organizations, civil society and business sector will take part in the conference which comes at a request of the Swiss government.

The conference will address the issue of climate change and its impact on water resources as well as means of managing water resources and generating energy from water and natural sources.
