The mortal remains of Ma. Zolay Mini Tingban, mother of Nimba County Representative, Matenokay Tingban, is expected to be interred on Saturday, March 2, 2013 in Glehyee-zorpea, Nimba County.
Honorable Tingban in his recent communication to the House Plenary informed his fellow colleagues about the sudden death of his mother.
The communication stated: "With distress, let me herewith officially inform you of the sudden death of my beloved mother, Ma Zolay Mini Tingban. This sad event took place on February 4, 2013 at the Jackson F.Doe Memorial Regional Referral Hospital in Tappita, Nimba County after a brief illness. The remains of our mother is at the St. Moses Funeral Home, Monrovia."
According to a dispatch from Honorable Tingban's office, she will be removed from the funeral home today Wednesday February 27, 2013 and taken to his (Rep. Tingban) residence located along the Robertsfield highway around the VOA junction for a night of wake keeping.
The dispatch further stated that the body will on Thursday February 28, 2013 be taken to Glehyee -zorpea, for two nights of wake keeping after which she will be finally laid to rest on Saturday.
The late Ma. Zolay Mini Tingban was 80 years of age with four living children, 16 grand children and five great grand children. She was the wife of the late Willie B. Tingban Sr., former Paramount Chief of Yarwin Mehnsonnoh District, Nimba County.
