West Africa: President Jammeh Leaves for Cote d'Ivoire

The president of the Republic, accompanied by a high ranking delegation, left the Banjul International Airport today, Wednesday, 27th February 2013 at 6:00am to attend the 42nd Ordinary Session of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of ECOWAS in Yamoussoukro in the Republic of Cote D'Ivoire, a press release from State House revealed.

His Excellency the President of the Republic of The Gambia, Sheikh Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya AJJ Jammeh accompanied by a high ranking delegation will leave Banjul International Airport tomorrow Wednesday the 27th of February 2013 at 6:00am in the early hours of the morning to attend the 42nd Ordinary Session of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of ECOWAS in Yamoussoukro in the Republic of Cote D'Ivoire.

Those invited to see His Excellency the President off are requested to be at the Airport at least half an hour before departure for the usual ceremonies.
