Foreign Minister Dr. Tedros Adhanom met an Egyptian diplomatic group led by Director of Diplomatic Studies Institute, Ambassador Muhammad al- Badira. During the occasion Ambassador al-Badira stated the fact that Egypt and Ethiopia enjoy historical relationships, adding that the newly graduated diplomats from the institute are in Addis Ababa to have an overall insight about this long lasting relationship.

The Ambassador also expressed Egypt's readiness to exchange experience in diplomatic trainings as well as assist the Foreign Service Institute the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia is establishing. Dr. Tedros in his part appreciated the initiative taken by the Egyptian side and stressed that Ethiopia and Egypt are destined to live together through mutual cooperation and understanding. He stressed that building people-to-people relations has paramount importance, in that regard.
