Eritrea: Efforts Underway to Bring Potable Water to Adi-Omar

Hagaz — The inhabitants of Adi-Omar Administrative area, Hagaz sub-zone, lauded the endeavors being exerted to meet potable water demand in the locality on the basis of putting in place a modern facility in the village of Dembe-Adi-Tsegai.

Among the inhabitants, Mr. Habte Zemat and Mr. Mohammed Mohammed-Ibrahim expressed conviction that the launching of such facility would significantly contribute to the improvement of their livelihood. They further indicated that commendable community participation is being witnessed in the process.

Mr. Medhanie Andehaimanot, coordinator of the potable water supply project, explained that the implementation of the facility has neared finalization, the process of which comprises installation of a 3 Km. pipeline, construction of reservoir and distribution stations.
