Kenya: Daab Victims to Get Pay Out

Truth Justice and Reconciliation Commission has pledged to ensure justice is be done for victims of Daab killings during states of emergency in the 1960s. A TJRC director Elijah Letangule said past injustices by state will be addressed after reports were released in May this year.

He said the commission will advocate for speedy and full implementation of recommendations once the TJRC report is released. Letangule was addressing civil society organisations, peace committees and other players at Isiolo Bomen Hotel.
