Eritrea: Senafe Sub-Zone - Parents Call for More Skill Training

Senafe — Parents in Senafe sub-zone have called for reinforcement of government endeavors as regards organizing skill training vis-à-vis academic activities. They made the call in an occasion where 120 youths who have been attending a training course graduated.

Among the inhabitants, Mr. Ali Mohammed-Saleh, Ms. Alemtsehai Geshu, Ms. Fireweini Berhane and Mr. Woldai Yohanes called on the beneficiaries of the training to use the opportunity as a stepping stone to a bright future, and the community to extend a helping hand towards raising the production capacity of youths. They further asserted that nurturing virtuous youths entails numerous advantages at societal level, and called on the youth to judiciously utilize such opportunities.

One of the trainees, Sabe Bisrat, said that the training is a turning point in their career life as they have already acquired skill knowhow besides the careers they anticipate through their academic achievement.

The training that was organized by the NUEYS involved video and still photography, as well as hairdressing.
