Eritrea: Italian Diaspora Pledge to Back Up Development Drive

Asmara — Eritrean community members residing in the Italian cities of Bologna, Parma and Reggio Emilia have expressed readiness to back up the national development drive. They reiterated their pledge at a seminar during which detailed briefings were given regarding the objective situation in the Homeland.

The Eritrean Ambassador to Italy, Mr. Zemede Tekle, pointed out that the Government has been exerting stepped up endeavors to promote national economic investment through ensuring favorable environment. He further advised the nationals to become beneficiaries of such investment prospects at individual or group level.

The seminar participants on their part lauded the development accomplishments being registered in the Homeland, and voiced staunch resistance against anti-Eritrea agendas.
