Angola, Sao Tome and Principe Strategic Partners

Luanda — Angola will continue being a strategic partner of Sao Tome and Principe, despite its new political organization, on Wednesday here stated the speaker of the Parliament of that Island Nation, Alcino de Barros Pinto.

The MP said so after an audience with the acting Speaker of the Angolan National Assembly, João Lourenço, during his visit to Angola.

The official is in his way to his country, after participating in South Korea, in a conference on peace, security and development, added that it was a courtesy meeting, and he seized the occasion to speak about the need of improving the relations between the two countries, mainly in parliamentary area.

He said that in this domain, the most important is to boost the change of visits between MPs delegations, meant exchange of experience.

The official confirmed that Angola and Sao Tome have a very dynamic relation, there is always spaces to improve it, being that the sides must continue speak about the aspects that must be improved.
