Members of the Press Club of Federal Science and Technical College, Dayi, Katsina state yesterday visited the head office of Media Trust Limited on an excursion to boost the students' knowledge of news gathering and dissemination.

Patron of the press club who led the students, Oluwambo Olowe, said they were in Media Trust so that the students would be exposed to the rudiments of print journalism.

On his part, President of the Dayi Students' Press Club, Lawan Bala, said they have learnt a lot from their excursion.

During the excursion, the students were taken round the newsroom and the production department by Daily Trust Investigations Editor, Nuruddeen M. Abdallah, who briefed them on the processes of news gathering.
