Morocco: Energy Club of Mohammadia School of Engineers Unveils Solar Vehicle Project

On February 26, on the 3rd edition of "Power Day" in Rabat, the Energy Club of the Mohammadia School of Engineers (EMI) unveiled its ambitious project promoting solar vehicles through an efficient technology that reduces energy dependence and pollution. Equipped with photovoltaic electricity cells for recharging batteries, the ultra-light solar vehicle (maximum weight of 300 kg) will reach a speed of 40-100km/hr with a driver whose weight does not exceed 70 kg. An electric engine provides its propulsion.
