Angola: Cabinet Approves Contract to Restructure Cazenga's Water Reserve

Luanda — The Angolan Cabinet Council last Wednesday in Luanda approved a contract to restructure and increase the water reserve capacity of the Water Supply Centre of Luanda's Cazenga Municipality.

This is a project which aims at increasing the supply of drinkable water to the residential and industrial zones of Cazenga and its outskirts.

According to the final communiqué of the meeting chaired by the Angolan Head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, the Cabinet also approved the contract to rehabilitate the water supply systems for the municipality of Calai, in the south-eastern Kuando Kubango Province, as well as the Matala Municipality, in the southern Huila Province.

The meeting equally approved a contract to build the Technological Park of Camama ward, in Luanda Province, among other relevant diplomas.

Finally, the Cabinet Council members were informed about the participation of Angola in the 18th UN Conference on Climate Changes.
