Angola: Writer for Continuation of UEA Outgoing Secretary General

Luanda — The Angolan writer Lopito Feijó defended on Wednesday in Luanda the need of supporting the continuation of Carmo Neto as secretary general of the Angolan Writers Union (UEA), with the renewal of term of members of his list.

Lopito Feijó said that the renewal of Carmo Neto's member list will give possibilities for the emergence of other ideas and proposals.

The elections of UEA are set for April.

UEA was founded on 10 December in 1975 and it controls about 120 writers.
