Egyptian Population Hits 92 Million

The Egyptian population inside and outside the country will hit 92 million on March 1, according to the official population clock of the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).

The number of Egyptians inside the country will stand at 84 billion, CAPMAS said in a statement on Wednesday 27/2/2013.

This means that the number of Egyptians rises by one million every six months, the report expounded.

Some 51.1 per cent of Egyptians inside the country are males and 48.9 per cent are females, the report said.
