The U.S. mission in Cairo has said that it will shut its doors to the public on Sunday coinciding with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry's visit to Cairo.
State Department spokeswomen Victoria Noland had said that Kerry would meet senior Egyptian officials, political leaders and representatives of civil society to encourage national consensus and economic progress, reported the state news agency.
Kerry's tour which ends on March 6 includes visits to London, Berlin, Paris, Rome, Ankara, Riyadh, Abu Dhabi and Doha.
