For the first time in its 51-year history, the Libyan football federation has an elected president, PANA reported on Tuesday (February 26th). Attorney Anwar al-Tashani served with Atahaddy Benghazi SC.
Before the revolution, the federation was controlled by Moamer Kadhafi and his family. The Libyan championship has been suspended since Kadhafi's ouster for security reasons.
