Gambia: 18-Year-Old Man Seeks Assistance to Undergo Medical Treatment

Kumuna Corrah, an 18-year-old man and a resident of Tallinding has appealed to the general public to come to his aid to undergo overseas medical treatment to get rid of a life-threatening illness he has been battling with.

His medical report from the Royal Victoria Teaching Hospital (RVTH) reads that the patient was some time ago received at the Accident and Emergency Unit complaining of a two-week-old history of low-grade fever, which is intermittent. The report indicated that he also complains of none production cough and facial swelling.

According to the report "He is presently on chronic Haemodialysis," the diagnosis further stated that he has "End Stage Disease" that needs overseas treatment even as he is currently being admitted at the said hospital.
