The Creative Workers Union of South Africa (CWUSA) is extremely disturbed by the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) board to remove acting Chief Operations Officer (COO), Mr Hlaudi Motsoaneng without reasons.

As CWUSA, we view this orchestrated move as factional by factionalists who are hell-bent on destroying Mr Motsoaneng and the SABC. This factionalist board want to loot the SABC resources for their chauvinistic and selfish interest. Some of them are living beyond their expenditures and hiding behind the banner of our glorious movement – the ANC.

CWUSA will mobilize its members in support of the Mr Motsoaneng and also march to the SABC demanding the re-instatement of Mr Motsoaneng. We will leave no stone unturned against this factionalist board.

We recommend to the Minister of Communications to overturn this illegal removal of Mr Motsoaneng because his removal was illegal and factional.
