Eritrea: Nationals Express Satisfaction With Business Proclamation

Asmara — A number of nationals traveling to and fro the country have expressed satisfaction with the implementation of Proclamation No. 173/2013, the impact of which has become significant in creating the groundwork for prompt services related to business.

The nationals who arrived at Asmara International Airport from the US, Canada and various European countries said that the implementation of the Proclamation is timely, and pointed out that the possibility of holding up to 10,000 USD cash during travels to and fro the country without declaration is a springboard to versatile business and other activities.

Among the nationals, Ms. Genet Gebremedhin, Mr. Haile Abraha, Ms. Mebrat Gaim and Mr. Seid Beshir voiced conviction that such opportunity would give rise to new prospects for citizens and the nation.

Moreover, Mr. Mekonen Bahta and Ms. Wehazit Woldemichael asserted that the Proclamation is also a stepping stone to higher national development and investment, besides the fact that it would encourage mobility of nationals to and fro the Homeland.
