Eritrea: Administrators Urged to Embrace Community Living

Hagaz — The Administration of Hagaz sub-zone has called on Area administrators to step up efforts as regards promoting community-based style of living. It made the call at a meeting conducted with the inhabitants of Enchinaq, Idamir and Gilass Administrative areas.

Mr. Idris Mohammed Hamd, Administrator of the sub-zone, explained that carious development accomplishments have been registered in the locality, and that popularization of such style of living is a major prerequisite in enhancing the impact of social service facilities.

In this connection, the Administrator of Anseba region, Mr. Gergis Girmai, called on the inhabitants to adhere to community living and thereby ensure effective utilization of the available resources and facilities. He also called on them to reinforce community undertakings targeting soil and water conservation, as well as afforestation.

The participants of the meeting put forth views regarding several issues.
