Tunisia Capable of Inflecting Negative Curve Provided That Stability Is Ensured

Carthage — Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) Governor Chedli Ayari said during a meeting on Friday with President Moncef Marzouki that Tunisia is capable of inflecting the negative curve provided that stability at political, social and security levels is ensured.

It is the only way to help the national economy come out of this difficult situation and make investors and partners believe in Tunisia as an attractive site, Mr. Ayari estimated.

The meeting was an occasion for Mr. Marzouki to get acquainted with the financial and economic situation and the measures taken by BCT to preserve the State's financial balance and bolster the economy, a communiqué of the Presidency of the Republic reads.
