Justice Mudashiru Oniyangi of an Abuja High Court Friday held that President Goodluck Jonathan is eligible to contest the forthcoming 2015 presidential election if he so desires.
The court held that Jonathan's assumption of the office of the president after the demise of late former president, Umar Yar'Adua was in line with what the National Assembly aptly described as 'doctrine of necessity' and not as a result of emerging winner in any bye election conducted after the death of the late former president.

Jhonathan have nothing to celebrate that he has been granted permission to run for another round of leadership race to lead the remainder of his sheep in the nation . If I was Jonathan and know how much even the remotest villagers rain abuse on his past . he'll think twice to venture in that ambition. It is like Obasanjo dreaming to contest to become Nigeria's President for the third time . What has Jonathan got to show the nation that he could not have done for all that leverage extended to him the first time he was given everything to Preside over our fate ? To allow Jonathan another excursion in at Aso rock is like forcing Rehoboam to rule the Israelites after he had promised them his little finger shall be bigger than his father's loins. "To your tents Oh Isreal, what portion have we in David ", was the exclamation of the Israelis who have gathered to hear the new king of the Jews ! Jonathan is already losing most of his ardent loyalists if you're reading David Mark's indictment on Jonathans relentless apetite to send the nation aborrowing without showing where all of the petroleum money over the donkey years have gone. His next attempt to rule us like slaves once more will be a very big mistake no matter what the courts have told him . The nation must be prepared for the second war of independence to recoup huge sum of the nations money starked all over the world under Obasanjo , Babangida, Abacha and Jonathan administration at the end of this shameful government . Nothing can can assuage Nigerian anger that recovery of about 10 trillion dollars looted from Nigeria by combination of these rouge leaders and the petroleum companies local and foreign companies exploiting the nations income base in the past 45 years. Voluntary restitution may be more respectable than when these foreign nations are forced to disclose where these monies are hidden .
