Egypt: Three Projects for Producing 5,500 Megawatt of Electricity - Minister

In a press statement 2/3/2013, Minister of Electricity and Energy Ahmed Imam said that the ministry embarks on offering the establishment of three projects for producing electricity next month at a capacity of 5,500 megawatt before the private sector.

The investment cost of the projects hits some EGP 50 billion to be extended by the private sector after it managed to obtain the governmental guarantee until the issuance of the unified electricity law which ensures the investors' rights.
