Security has been beefed up in Kwale as voters prepare to cast their votes today. The government and the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission have assured residents of their security.
Kwale county commissioner Evans Achoki yesterday said more police officers have been deployed in the Kombani AP camp. "The residents should remain calm because we have put systems in place to ensure peace prevails. This is a national exercise. Whoever intends to disrupt it will meet full force of the law," he said.
