Workers at National Hospital, Abuja, Tuesday began an industrial action to protest the hospital's failure to implement conditions of service for the past 14 years and arbitrary disregard of staff welfare.
Nurses, midwives, senior staff and other medical workers, apart from doctors, will report at the hospital but will not stay at their duty posts between 8am and noon, according to the three-day work-to-rule declared by their unions.
