Namibia: Rapist to Serve 45 Years Behind Bars

Windhoek — Convicted serial rapist Ralph Mzuvukile Mtshibe was sentenced to a lengthy 45 years in prison yesterday by Judge Naomi Shivute.

Judge Shivute told Mtshibe that his conduct shows that he has no respect for women's physical integrity and he does not attach any value to human dignity. "The accused is a callous rapist, and from the evidence I conclude that the complainants must have had a terrifying experience," the judge remarked.
