The delay in announcing election results has been caused by large voter turn-out, according to the electoral commission chairman, Isaack Hassan (file photo).

The IEBC has began releasing the final presidential tally.

Presidential candidate Raila Odinga received 1224 from the diaspora followed by Uhuru Kenyatta who managed 951 votes.

The commission has also released results from Kajiado South and Kajiado Central constituencies.
