Uganda: Court Martial Jails Two Civilians for 13 Years Each

The General Court Martial (GCM) in Kampala has convicted and sentenced two civilians to 13 years in prison each for aggravated robbery and unlawful possession of fire arms.

The convicts Ali Mwesigwa 37 and Peter Mwesigwa 35 both residents of Kisoga in Mukono district were sentenced by court presided over by the GCM chairman Maj. Gen. Fred Tolit on Tuesday.
