All Progressives Congress (APC) has been described as the best party for people like Kano State Governor, Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso to join.
Nasarawa State Governor Tanko Al-Makura made this known to journalists when he visited with his Kano state counterpart, yesterday.
This belief of governor Al-Makura generated discussion quickly among many who recalled that recently General Muhammad Buhari visited the Governor at Government House and insinuated that the visit had political undertones. This was just as others viewed the development as pro-north.
"I share the same ideology with His Excellency, Governor Kwankwaso even though we belong to different party. He has a rightful place in the APC," Al Makura said.
He then appealed to all northern states governors to fashion out sound policies that could raise the political and socio-economic status of their people.
Al -Makura said he was in Kano to sympathise with the government, emirate council and the entire people of the state over several unfortunate incidences that befall them.
"In particular we feel sorry for loss of lives and property and callous attack on our father, the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero. We seek God's intervention to end such wanton destruction of lives and property in Kano," Al-Makura said.
