Angola Studies Mechanisms to Boost Relations With Mozambique

The Angolan diplomatic authorities are studying mechanisms that contribute for reinforcement of the co-operation with Mozambique, despite both countries have already relations considered excellent, Angop has learnt.

This was said by the Angolan ambassador to Mozambique, Isaias Jaime Vilinga, when speaking to the international press.

According to him, the excellent relations are the result of a trajectory of the brother countries, started on September 05, 1978, when the then Presidents António Agostinho Neto, of Angola, and Samora Moises Machel, of Mozambique, outlined the guides for a co-operation.

He also said that there are about 30 accords signed between both countries in the domains of health, education, culture, social communication, transports, science and related to the former combatants.

The Ambassador also said that a hard work has been developed for the implementation of these accords in totality and the results made both countries satisfied.

"We have been having some delegations between Angola and Mozambique and vice verse, which is positive", he said.
