A whopping 83 per cent of Nigeria's oil blocs are owned by past presidents, top military officers, politicians and businessmen of northern extraction, Senate debates on the general principles of the touchy Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB) revealed, yesterday.
The development was contained in debates by the Chairman, Senate Committee on Rules and Business, Senator Ita Enang (Akwa Ibom/PDP) at plenary.
