Ali Hassan Joho is governor elect of Mombasa county. Joho garnered 132,583 votes against businessman Suleman Shahbal who got 94,905 votes. The county's senator elect is Hassan Omar who managed to beat former MPs Ramadhan Seif Kajembe and Najib Balala. Mish Mboko has been elected for Women Rep in Mombasa.
Meanwhile William Kabogo is the new governor elect for Kiambu County, with John Munyes declared as Turkana County's new Senator elect.
