Nigeria: 'We Have Discovered 30 Indigenous Species of Trees in Cross River'

Calabar — Arikpo Arikpo is an experienced environmentalist and journalist, who has been involved in forestry business for quite a while. He was recently appointed a member of the Cross River State Forestry Commission Board and a commissioner in charge of community and private forestry. In this interview, he says they have discovered 30 species of trees that are indigenous to the state, among other issues. Excerpts:
